k&k episode 123 - the one where they do it for the listeners... and stuff...
We're doing it on two hours sleep and a considerable amount of caffeine but we're pleased to bring you super-episode 123.
It's a bit longer than usual, to make up for the fact we only have the time to record and put out one episode this week, with Kyliemac gallavanting around England! We talk about our adventures surrounding the Petite Anglaise launch party (make sure you check the show notes to see the photos), then we get distracted by a discussion about different churches, cathedrals, museums and scary monuments in France. We also talk about haircuts and Nouvelle Star (again), then Katia introduces Kyliemac to some Australian lollies (with interesting consequences).
We went to the launch party for Petite Anglaise. Check out the photos!
Katia was obviously tired and she talked for 10 minutes about Pau. But it wasn't Pau. It was Le Puy en Velay and it has a famous church on a hill and an enormous statue watching over the town.
Go and watch the Nouvelle Star audition of Katie, une Américaine.
And finally, Katia's birthday booty from Phil and Alexis
This episode was brought to you by the phrase "une fringe" (a fringe/bangs).
Oh boy! I'll be in town in a couple of weeks - save some for me! :D
Oh my gosh - your reactions to the roo poo cracked me up! soo funny.
i am looking forward to hearing next wks discussion (though you really don't have play the vm as i sound like i am 10).
i agree with frog about podcasting drunk, i mean with hangovers. love it! your listeners really appreciate your dedication. =)

1) I agree, the inside of the Sacré Coeur is not only scary, it's ugly.
2) Katia, I can't believe you've never been to the Sainte Chapelle, which is the most amazing place in the whole world and I'm not exagerating. It's worth traveling to France just to see that! Can I go with you?
3) How could you guys podcast after such a wild party and so little sleep? You both sound totally drunk throughout this whole episode. I love it!
4) Virgin Mary at the top of a mountain in Pau. Like hello! See point 3.
5) I like Katia's drunk smoking voice when she talks about her hair.
6) Eglise St Etienne du Mont is the one you're talking about. I don't think there is an Eglise Ste Geneviève in that neighborhood(which might be the old name of the Panthéon). There is the Bibilothèque Ste Geneviève on the square though.
7) Funny how the hangover disappears at the sight of Aussie Lollies! (can I be the next guest in case someone else gets to eat all that candy before I do?)
