k&k episode 191 - the one where Kylie tells her Tale of Thievery... and stuff...
It's a Norman invasion in episode 191, as Kylie tells all about her adventures travelling around Normandy! She describes encountering Richard the Lionheart in Rouen (or at least what remains of him), visiting old plague cemeteries and the D-Day beaches, what happens when you don't pay attention to signs and what the Bayeux tapestry is really made of. Katia gives a toe update and we pimp out the events surrounding episode 200!
This episode was brought to you by the word "la peste" (the plague).
Kyliemac> You forgot to explain that Rollon (Katia... Rolo... pfff. lol) was a great viking chief before becomming the first duke of Normandy!!! He was given this area to avoid the looting of the cities around the Seine river (including Paris!!!).

And I agree with the great impression that is given by the AƮtre St Maclou !!!

Oh Kylie! I'm sorry to hear about your and your friend's lost items! I hope things work out...or at least eat lots of M and M's to make you feel better. I just started to listen your podcast a few months ago and absolutely love it. I so wish I could fly over to Paris and be with you guys at the episode 200th party!! But I'll have to settle with listening to you talk about it.*grin*
Hope you have a great week!
All the best,
Donica
