"Are you Being Served" was my FAVORITE show growing up in California. OMG, I loved Mrs. Slocombe and Mr. Humphrey's. In San Francisco our PBS station had tons of British imports, but only intellectuals and weird kids watched 'em :( Btw, Mr. Humphrey's died awhile back and I was heart-broken. I love him...sigh.

A "Snuggie" (www.getsnuggie.com) is what you speak of and they've become so popular that they actually have "Snuggie Pub Crawls":

I cannot think of anything more ridiculous.

If Jesus in heaven only allowed people wearing Snuggie's into heaven -- I fear I would be one of he ones denied entrance and I'd be sitting on the curb outside.

P.S. Another little know fact is that Black people also won't wear Hawaiian shirts. We must at all times maintain an air of "cool." You'd only don a Snuggie if you really, really want and enjoy severe ass-kickings.

OMG - "ornithorynque?!?!?!?" Insanity!

Can I be a backup singer for Suicidal Platypus? It's one of my life goals.

In Florida, we get a ton of British shows: Are You Being Served, Fawlty Towers, Waiting For God, Keeping Up Appearances, Dr. Who, The Avengers and Month Python just to name a few.
