k&k episode 239 - the one where they reveal childhood secrets that might have been better left unrevealed... and stuff...
In episode 239 we talk about k&k unplugged, we do a round-up of our last mini-break (including bbqs, pools, anti-tourism and spontaneously silly party games which result in some interesting childhood revelations), then we get into an animated discussion about the mythical "French 35 hour work week".
This episode was brought to you by the word "un cadre" (a frame / a setting / an executive).
Bon anniversaire monsieur et mesdemoiselles.
On the whole working in America thing: I came back on May 8th, and started working full time (sort of for my dad) on the 14th, despite my father insisting that I start the 11th) and I am going CRAZY! After a 12 hour week for 7 months, two days of this 8 to 5 mess is NOT cool. I actually almost fell asleep Friday afternoon, oops! Also, I am going data entry, which is not the most stimulating job in the world. But yeah, I want more vacation and more mini breaks! I will have two days of vacation between now and August, Memorial Day and July 4th.

Yay! Happy 2 year anniversary to us!
