k&k episode 255 - the one where they talk about bikinis, speedos and comme elle est chaude... and stuff...
Things are heating up in episode 255, as we recount our travels across the French countryside with the delicious Frog (and the Muffin Man), visiting some very special people and recording in "our" fancy new country studio. With much excitement, we talk about traffic jams on long weekends, how to entertain yourself during long car rides, turkish toilets, families, bikinis, speedos, pool temperatures, names and national holidays.
This episode was brought to you by the phrase "une fête nationale" (national holiday).
merci pour ce merveilleux week end.A bientôt, mais n'oubliez pas la SUZE.
The dear was AMAZING!!!!!
AWESOME..AWESOME!!
:-)
The Scientology section was...interesting. Woody Allen does a good job poking fun at those sort of groups, like EST and such.
Sometimes indirectly like:
‘I ask the rabbi the meaning of life. He tells me the meaning of life but he tells it to me in Hebrew. I don't understand Hebrew. Then he wants to charge me $600 for Hebrew lessons.’
Pretty much sums it up
hennir /'eniʀ/ intransitive verb to neigh, to whinny.
I used to work with a woman named Easter.

This morning, I woke up to our National Public Radio station doing a short piece on summer in Paris, comparing this to summer in most cities in the United States.
One of the differences of course, was mentioned in an earlier podcast...the lack of air conditioning in most Paris apartments and houses.
This lends to a totally different set of city sounds, as in the United States, the sound of a city in summer is usually the hum of air conditions, while in Paris, with its opened windows, one gets a slice of sound coming from each home and apartment, because of all the windows that are opened. People practicing musical instruments, the noise of plates and glasses at meal times, etc.
