about katia and kyliemac original version (VO)

k&k episode 285 - the one where they eat lollies for half the show... and stuff...

We spend the first half of episode 285 eating lollies and talking about meeting up with listeners, postcards and presents (including milk duds and moist towelettes), and Katia talks about spending a week in Mulhouse (which involved strange dialects, mushrooms, sauerkraut, pigs feet, much wine and learning new learn french expressions).

This episode was brought to you by the phrase "pieds de cochon" (pigs feet).

Daniel :

Since I was born in Mulhouse I can answer: We don't learn alsacian in school (and I don't speek it) yet it is my father's mother tongue.

I believe that germans would understand alsacian at least most of it.

Alsacian is way more live in Strasbourg than in mulhouse.

Ps: I never felt the accent as chanting.
