k&k episode 287 UNPLUGGED - the one where they discuss how they feel about trees... and stuff...

Even though we are traipsing around France this weekend, we refuse to leave you with nothing to listen to, so we are proud to present some more unplugged action in episode 287, where we talk about feeding the pigeons, how Frog really feels about trees and what happens during "muck week" and on the weekends in a boarding house. Be warned : there is RANtAGE.

This episode was brought to you by the phrase "point barre" (full stop / period).

I prefer the PUI episodes. At least people can blame our bull shit on the alcohol we consume...

But here, between Katia's mock up funerals and my hatred for forests, we're going to scare listeners. I think it's high time we did an episode on world peace or something like that, don't you think?

We didn't have an entire week or anything, but we had a "senior prank". It was pretty lame because there were only 30 people in my year, but we made a "beach" in the head of the upper school's office. We brought in an inflatable wading pool and some towels, chairs, and sand and other good beach stuff and filled the pool with water so that he would have to empty it out before disassembling it. HAHAHAHAHA we hated him, so it was pretty great to see his reaction.

What was better was in 11th grade, when we raised fruit flies in AP Biology class, then set them free in his office trash can with a healthy food supply stashed around his office. The teacher told us to let them go outside, but we thought this was a better idea. Hehehe.

We had a senior room at my upper school, with a fridge, microwave, TV and video games, and stuff like that. You could go in there during break or lunch, or when you had a free period. It was pretty sweet. I loved my upper school, just not the principal. :D

Oh, I HATE PIGEONS. But I feel really bad for them when I see ones with missing or deformed feet :(

We had "muck up" week in Queensland, although my school was pretty strict about it, due to some idiots in the past. We had to keep our pranks not too messy (according to the deputy principal of the time...).

So in the end, not much was done in our year. When I was in Year 8, there was a group of guys from our "brother" school who came and drove around and around our school oval, causing just about the whole school to be out on the verandahs watching them! The following year, boys from the same school set part of the grass on the oval alight - so not cool.

But our year, we were pretty tame. Nothing much happened at all. Except that the statue of Mary disappeared from the grotto in the garden and reappeared in the chair of the school principal (an ex-nun too!) who belly-laughed so loudly when she saw it, we almost heard it across the school.

@Frog: HOW can you hate forests after living in Sweden for such a long time? Where did you live then, in Stockholm? Because nature-wise Sweden is very similar to Finland and has a lot of forests.
