about katia and kyliemac original version (VO)

k&k episode 308 - the one where they discuss heroes and oyster-opening... and stuff...

After Katia sings out of key (I swear I normally sing better that that), we dedicate episode 308 to The Justin, discussing technical difficulties, further holiday round-ups, sky tv, movies, gîte database, new years eve and oyster opening. Kylie then tells us about catching up with Variri (movie update, wandering around the Champs Elysées, finally going to the Grand Palais), we spend quite some time chatting about snow and how we met up with another listener, Lise from Scotland.

This episode was brought to you by the word "gabarre" (a barge).

SUPER VARIRI TO THE RESCUE! Now she's rescuing donkey's on the street? She rocks!

After a sleet storm up in Big Bear, California -- I tried to use boiling water to melt the ice on the outside staircase and it froze too. I had to use the kettle like an iron to melt the ice.

I had NO idea how to get a thick sheet of ice off my windshield. I let the defroster run for 30 minutes to no avail.

So I tried a variety of tools and utensils before I found the hard plastic spatula worked best. :-D

Note to self: Find superhero cape for Variri. Capes are necessary accessories for superheros. It's a mandatory part of the uniform.

Hahaha! Thanks Janice!
I add a few words here to thank Kyliemac again for our lovely afternoon.
It was really nice, and we really enjoyed the verrière of the Grand Palais that I had never seen, and I was amazed to see attractions INSIDE.

I have to said to all the listeners that Kyliemac speaks french nicely, the only thing is that she hesitates, because she's not speaking french that often.
