k&k episode 93 - the one where they talk about travelling the world... and stuff...

Have you ever dreamed of travelling to distant and unknown places? Forget France - how about Siberia? Or the Gobi Desert? Tracey, our special guest for episode 93, is not just dreaming about it, she's going to do it (and already has done quite a bit of travelling to distant and unknown places already, to be honest. Jealous, much?). We also talk a little bit about learning foreign languages and the excitement of travelling. (Show links)

This episode was brought to you by the word "dag" (you'll have to listen to the episode to find out what it means).

Yes you might take baked beans to a bbq, and indeed I have (but only homemade ones as I am from Boston after all). They are very easy to make from scratch in a crockpot. But you are wrong about there being only 2 Australian's in France. There are 3, because of the one that runs the juice bar. ;)

Well.....I hate to say this but I would NEVER bring baked beans from a can anywhere!!!And dag=dingleberry! You absolutely need a t-shirt that says "reALLLLLyyyy!?!!?"And hey, send Flat Scout to Mt. Everst Base Camp!

In Samdebretagne's America (which is not far from Kyliemac's America), one would definitely bring baked beans from a can to a BBQ or a potluck. But then again, one would also bring a jello mold made out of green jello and carrots...

mmmm baked beans! In Vivi's glorious Southern States of America, baked beans are often made from scratch or at least gussied up a bit from the can for potlucks or BBQs. Bacon is usually added to give more flavor. Good stuff! :DOh - and I really do hope Tracey documents her trip online, I would LOVE to follow along as well!

Yes, I also want to follow Tracey on her trip, if not live then on a blog at least.PS: Beans at a picnic. uh... WTF? Who in their right mind would dream of doing anything like it?
