k&k episode 186 - the one where they talk about french men, french women and secret tours of Paris... and stuff...
We've got Heather back in the CTS for episode 186 (we know it seems as if we tied her to the coffee table, but seriously, we didn't), where we talk about all sorts of interesting things, such as why French men are often viewed as romantic, why they consider it their duty to chat up every woman they encounter (ok, so we're stereotyping a little, but seriously! have you SEEN how fast they move???), whether you can leave the house without makeup on in Paris and some of the differences between foreign and French women. Heather also tells us some stories about giving custom tours in Paris, including how to answer odd questions, one of the strangest personalised tour requests she's ever had and what it's like to go to restaurants with rowdy groups.
This episode was brought to you by the word "un guide accompagnateur" (a tour guide).

k&k episode 135 - the one where they wonder whether you can believe everything you see on tv... and stuff...
In episode 135, we show how it is actually possible to make yourself sound really unknowledgeable when you try to scoot around speaking about anything vaguely political, as we discuss the drama surrounding the Olympic torch relay and the way French people like to speculate on the state of affairs in the US based only on what they see on tv. Then we get into a number of very interesting topics : the joy of MTV, Kyliemac's spring break, random encounters with strangers, meet-ups with listeners, Shakespeare & Co., Katia's theatre adventures, WITWATAP, being friends of the friends of the stars and at the end of it all? You all find out who Katia could be neighbours with.

k&k episode 102 - the one where they taste the candy... or are they lollies? or sweets? ... and stuff...
Because it was simply impossible to pry the microphones out of the hands of our honoured guests, we have one last Porgy episode for you all in episode 102. Kyliemac pulls out the "halloween candy" and turns the group of non-Americans in front of her into guinea pigs for a while, then we continue in the format of the last few episodes -what one listener so astutely called "orchestrated chaos"- with some topics such as berets, being on time and bachelors jam. Thankyou Kim, Tracey, Pierre, Rhino75, Frog with a Blog for being such great guests. You're welcome back any time. Especially because you all pay attention to Symphony and prevent her from walking all over the mixer.

It is our very great pleasure to have a number of fabulous guests in the coffee table studio to help us celebrate this milestone - Kim , Tracey, Pierre, Rhino75, Frog with a Blog - and despite the resulting chaos with a crazy mix of accents and all sorts of juicy topics like toilets, geese and body hair on the agenda, we do manage to pull it all off in true K&K style.
The Muffin Man took some photographic evidence, and in a couple of days we'll give you all an extra special little additional treat, so make sure you come back and check ;)
But most importantly, we want to thank everyone - all the listeners and everyone who has helped us out - for making this show as much fun as it is. So, how about 100 more? (Show links)
