We're still coasting through the cognac region in episode 306 - you'll hear about our visit to the Bonnin cognac distillery and what else we learned about the art of making cognac and pineau, what we bought at the market in Saint-Jean d'Angely, what we did at Futuroscope, and what we thought of La Rochelle (including the old town, the Aquarium and the road signs).

Katia also does a toe update, which raises the topic of accessibility to transport in Paris for people who have difficulties moving around.

In episode 171 we talk all about the things we learned when we visited the Muffin Man's parents, such as what skills are required when hunting mushrooms, how to identify cheese spiders and how to spot squirrels in the gardens of a château. k&k episode 170 - the one where they discuss Burgundy, and the effects of whisky... and stuff...
We're all m&m-ed up in episode 170, where we talk about what we did (and didn't do) in our recent trip to Burgundy. Along the way, you'll hear about all sorts of adventures, including getting mixed up about town names, b&bs around the world, what we consider to be a typically French impromptu picnic, seeing stars and bats and what happens when you drink too much whisky.

We're back in the real coffee table studio for episode 169, but we're still chatting about our various holiday adventures. Kylie tells us about doing Tim Tam Slams in London, and Katia talks all about their trip around Scotland - she manages to actually make the Highland Games sound boring by dragging the story out for way too long, then chats about travelling around the highlands, whisky and grouse sightings. Kylie talks about some of the things she did in Canterbury, including murder holes and Canterbury Tales. We get into a discussion about beer, then Phil tells a story about kilts and Katia tells about how she and the Muffin Man found their dream home. We discuss the fabulousness of London and stage shows in episode 168, as we bask in the excitement that is seeing Wicked and Avenue Q live on stage. With the lovely Phil, we go all musical-nerd, talking for quite some time about all the other shows we want to see when we go back, and sharing our stories of the various other adventures we had in London, including visiting listeners, bus tours, museum-ing and what it was like to "see the sights".

We reveal who fell in the Seine at the 4th of July picnic we attended, what Paris looks like when you drive through the city at night, then we chat a bit about the upcoming Mamma Mia and the Bastille Day picnic!

k&k episode 143 - the one where they actually talk about Paris... and stuff...
In episode 143 we talk about Kyliemac's dissertation and her classes, and then we chat a bit about some visitors that Katia has had and the adventures she has been having around Paris with them, as well as the things they have planned. As a result, we end up talking quite a bit about Paris and the various tourist attractions here (including the Eiffel Tower, boat rides, Berthillon and Versailles), and we share our thoughts on some of our favourite things to see.

Episode 131 starts off with Kyliemac telling us all about her visit to the Grand Palais to see the Marie Antoinette exhibit. We talk a bit about other museums and peeps (again), then recount our meeting with listener Kathryn and her superfantastically special peep egg before we all went to the Book Sale held by SOS Helpline. We round up the episode with a chat about the best baguette in Paris, do a WITWATAP update, then Katia tells everyone how excited she is about going to Venice later in the week!

In episode 130, we tell you all about a bunch of exciting things : our adventures on Ô Chatêau's new Champage Cruise on the Seine (including almost getting lost on the way, pretending we were VIPs and drinking way too much champagne in a short period of time), getting hailed on under the Eiffel Tower, eating Korean, then we top it all off with a gossip session about what Carla wore when she met the Queen.

Then we tackle one of our favourite topics : swearing in French, how to get away with it, and what not to say in front of the Muffin Man.
