k&k episode 210 - the one where they decide they'll have to go back to Burgundy... and stuff...
It is our great pleasure, in episode 210, to actually pay attention to the Pity Guest we found lurking in the Coffee Table Studio, The Justin. He doesn't tell us much about what he's doing in Paris, but he does tell us all about what he's doing in France - how he got here, why he's here, and what his corner of France is like.

k&k episode 209 - the one where they learn about foot fishing... and stuff...
We start off episode 209 by talking about an American expression that Katia is confused about, then Kylie talks about her New Years Eve experience, and Katia recounts the trip that she and the Muffin Man took to Brittany, involving seafood, fishing and giant rocks. Oh, and we have a guest. But he wasn't really supposed to be there.

k&k episode 194 - the one where they talk about bookshops and armadillo attacks... and stuff...
We're pretending to be well-read in episode 194, as Kyliemac recounts some book readings she's recently attended (David Sedaris & Stephen Clarke), and we discuss our favourite English bookshops in Paris as well as the prizes that are up for grabs for the-episode 200 contests! Katia also does a toe update, which raises the topic of accessibility to transport in Paris.
k&k episode 193 - the one where Dani takes them on a european tour, and then they eat some chocolate... and stuff...
In episode 193, Dani tells us about what brings her to France, how to get in to the Bibliothèque National de France (French National Library) and whether her French has improved since arriving, then recounts some tales of her trips around Europe, including Belgium (we love our Belgian listeners, but apparently Dani went to Brussels on a day when everyone got out of the wrong side of the bed, or maybe it's just the men that are a bit sleazier than we're used to?), Venice and Poland (Krakow, Auschwitz & Birkenau). We chat about how it feels to see the physical consequences of the various wars in Europe, then Dani tells us how she's been taking advantage of living in Paris, including doing chocolate tours!

Katia gives a toe update and we pimp out the events surrounding episode 200!

k&k episode 188 - the one where they talk about creepy Paris... and stuff...
We're proud to present a special Halloween edition of the Katia and Kyliemac podcast in episode 188! We start off by discussing the ways Halloween is celebrated in France (or not!), then Kylie describes some of the creepiest places to visit in Paris - from sinister cemeteries to macabre museums, there are plenty of hair-raising adventures to be had! After a discussion of our favourite horror movies, we tell some spooky stories about famous places in Paris and reveal a couple of haunted houses owned by famous people in France.
k&k episode 186 - the one where they talk about french men, french women and secret tours of Paris... and stuff...
We've got Heather back in the CTS for episode 186, where we talk about why French men are often viewed as romantic, why they consider it their duty to chat up every woman they encounter, whether you can leave the house without makeup on in Paris and some of the differences between foreign and French women. Heather also tells us some stories about giving custom tours in Paris, including how to answer odd questions, one of the strangest personalised tour requests she's ever had and what it's like to go to restaurants with rowdy groups.

k&k episode 184 - the one where they learn more about being naughty in Paris... and stuff...

Heather tells us some of the behind the scenes stories, including encounters at fetish and s&m clubs, then we get into a discussion about the merits of pole dancing classes.

We talk about the history of Paris as a sexy city, what makes French women so darn attractive, how easy it is to let your hair down when you're away from home, anglophone drinking tendencies as opposed to French drinking behaviour, and finally, Heather tells us about her inspiration for the book and some of the "behind the scene" stories.

We're back in the real coffee table studio for episode 169, but we're still chatting about our various holiday adventures. Kylie tells us about doing Tim Tam Slams in London, and Katia talks all about their trip around Scotland - she manages to actually make the Highland Games sound boring by dragging the story out for way too long, then chats about travelling around the highlands, whisky and grouse sightings. Kylie talks about some of the things she did in Canterbury, including murder holes and Canterbury Tales. We get into a discussion about beer, then Phil tells a story about kilts and Katia tells about how she and the Muffin Man found their dream home.

With the lovely Phil, we go all musical-nerd, talking for quite some time about all the other shows we want to see when we go back, and sharing our stories of the various other adventures we had in London, including visiting listeners, bus tours, museum-ing and what it was like to "see the sights".

In episode 130, we tell you all about a bunch of exciting things : our adventures on Ô Chatêau's new Champage Cruise on the Seine (including almost getting lost on the way, pretending we were VIPs and drinking way too much champagne in a short period of time), getting hailed on under the Eiffel Tower, eating Korean, then we top it all off with a gossip session about what Carla wore when she met the Queen.

Kylie then proceeds to tell us about some museums she visited recently, and then, after Katia confesses her push-pull feelings about Franck Dubosc, we talk a bit about kissing.

Vivi is still with us for episode 127, and after talking about the photos that the winner of the t-shirt competition sent us, we do a couple of Tim Tam Slams, live on the podcast! We round the episode up by recounting our adventures in Paris over the weekend, at Saint-Chapelle and the Palais Royale, and Katia tells all about a recent fondue-eating experience she had with the crazy kids from Gadabout.
